Sitting atop the Central tied for the most VP (9) in the league and the
only undefeated team remaining in the league - it's all good right? |

Sometimes all is not what it appears: they actually had the second worst
score of the week in the conference but played the team with the worst
score earning them a rare 2VP win - they are just 9th in conference points 25th
overall and the stats show they coulda lost all three games but the
reason they probably didn't was they have the least amount of points
scored against them in the league - sorry for putting a damper on your
success John, just trying to make your competitors feel a little better
about themselves |

Dateline Monday
Night: less than a minute to go in the final game of the week and Cleantown
is down 1 point in their game with TnT but have the Dallas Def on the
field; TnT is poised to
not only win the game but win Team of the Week Honors; it's 4th down for Carolina
and an incomplete pass would end the game and give Cleantown a loss,
2 less VP, and they would end up in 7th place. A sack, fumble recovery
or Int would give them a tie at least to salvage a spit with TnT for all
at stake. I didn't even know this was
possible but Delhomme gets hit, fumbles, Dallas recovers and they award
both a sack and a fumble recovery on the play giving Cleantown 2 more
points, 2 more VP, a win instead of a loss or a tie, and even Team of
the Week Honors instead of just a weekly second - they should at least
buy TnT a drink on Wednesday I would think |
